Nahum is death / thrash metal band located in Ostrava (Czech Republic, Europe), estabilished in 2004.

It was forged in blood and sweat with the aim not only to build on our previous work, but to push it a necessary step further. We began writing it during the very tough Covid period and lineup changes in the band, which left a strong mark on the album’s themes.
The album title is Old World Dead. It’s a vision of an old, dead world—one you definitely don’t want to live through again.
This time we’re bringing you 10 tracks…
The album had a similar production approach as its predecessor. Tracking once again took place at Southock Recording, and the mix and master were handled by Wojtek Wieslawski, owner of Hertz Studio, who’s behind the sound of records by Vader, Behemoth, Hate, Decapitated, and other world-renowned acts.
The album cover was once again created by Vladimir “Smerdulak” Chebakov, who proved himself on Within Destruction and has been our long-time collaborator.
Still, we dare say our fans will get something truly fresh and new. We definitely didn’t want to get stuck in the past—that’s not our style. At all costs we want to keep moving forward, both in quality and expression. Don’t expect any wild acrobatics, but we believe we’ve taken our sound to an even higher and more distinctive level. This Friday, September 19, the first single “Old World Dead” drops. 
The release party of the new album – March 28th, 2026, Ostrava, Barrák Club, Czech Republic. The album is released on CD under Smile Music Records, and on vinyl under Dead Maggoty Productions
